Jennifer Knowles , Ph.D is an author, speaker, consultant, and professor. She was named one of 2019’s “Disrupters” changing the face of Denver by 5280 Magazine for her advocacy work as “Lemonade Stand Mama” regarding lemonade stands and kids entrepreneurship. She enjoys playing outside and of course, drinking lemonade.
Our Story
Last Memorial Day, our lemonade stand was shut down by police due to a complaint and lack of permits. We worked with the community and legislators and got lemonade stand laws changed both in Denver and Colorado. Everyday kids can make a huge difference in this world!
